What is Efa-Japan?

EFA (Empowerment for all) Japan is a non-governmental organization that works on educational projects in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, as well as humanitarian assistance programmes, peace, environmental and human rights issues on a global level. Efa-Japan was established by JICHIRO in February 2005 with the idea of building on the knowledge and experience gained through the “Asian Children’s House,Eso as to make further contributions. Trade unionists and members of the public who were involved in the JICHIRO Asian Children’s House, were asked to participate in Efa-Japan so as to blend the specialist skills of trade unions with people power, to achieve mobilisation and flexibility in order to work on some of the pressing issues facing the world today
